First Aid Trainer

About the role:
Centre of Vocational Education Pty Ltd trading as COVE Training is a Registered Training Organisation that is accredited with VicRoads, WorkSafe Victoria, Energy Safe Victoria, and ASQA to train and assess in a range of compliance courses and licences. All current training is delivered in Victoria.
COVE is seeking to engage a First Aid Trainer as our business is expanding rapidly. The right applicant will work out of our Seaford, Dandenong, Thomastown locations as well as employer sites.
Attractive hourly rate. Three-month probationary period. Position may convert to part-time following a review.
Training and Assessment Positions Available in the following disciplines:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
Requirements:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the required vocational field
Availability:
- Available Mon-Fri 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Approximately one shift per week at present.
- Reliable and professional.
- Ability to train in multiple courses, licences and/or tickets will be looked at favourably.
- Training may be on sites throughout Victoria, travel will be required. Appropriate allowances renumerated accordingly.
- Required to apply for a Police Check and a Working With Children’s card.
