Obtaining Your License

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be receive a Notice of Assessment (NoA) from COVE Training which is valid for 60 days.  Students will then have to submit the NoA to WorkSafe Victoria who will issue the Forklift licence.

Beginners

  • 3 Day Course – $595.00

Experienced Drivers

  • 2 Day – $495.00 
  • 2 Evenings – $495.00 
  • 2 Day Weekend – $545.00

There is an additional licence fee payable to WorkSafe for the Forklift Licence.

Forklift Licence Course Delivery

Monday –  Friday (Plus Weekends)

  • This course is delivered over 3 days in a classroom and warehouse.
  • Weekend courses are available. Check the course calendar for dates and times.
  • Onsite training available.

Course Locations

Pre - Requisites

  • Applications will be required to undertake pre-course reading and an activity book to ensure an understanding of the leading content that will be reviewed in the class contact time. These materials will be supplied to the students upon enrolment and payment of the course
  • Students must fulfil the course’s eligibility requirements and provide valid identification documents to the WorkSafe Victoria standards, such as a current Victorian drivers’ licence
    • We are unable to accept digital driver licences. If you choose to supply your driver licence as an identification document, it must be a physical driver licence card

  • All applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old to undertake this course
  • Applicants who are in Australia on a students visa are permitted to undertake this course under the amendment to the ESOS Act
